SCHUETZ-- Mrs. Oda Schuetz, 79, of Hiawatha, wife of Ed Schuetz, died at the Hiawatha hospital Wednesday, Aug. 1, 1962, following an illness of nine weeks. Mrs. Schuetz, a native of Brown county, is survived by her husband of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma McClaskey of Mercier, Mrs. Phyllis Sturm of Denton, Mrs. Wilma Winkelbauer of Horton, Mrs. Patricia Christie of Topeka; five sons, Walter Schuetz and Ralph Schuetz of Hiawatha, Floyd Schuetz of Horton, Howard Schuetz of Dodge City, and Victor Schuetz of Seneca; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Ann's church in Hiawatha Saturday morning, Aug. 4, at 9 o'clock, with Father Norbert Wavada officiating. Interment will be in the St. Peter's cemetery at Mercier. Parish rosary will be held at the Meek Chapel, Hiawatha, Thursday evening, Aug 2, at 8 o'clock. Alter Society rosary will be held Friday evening, Aug. 3, at 8 o'clock also at the Meek chapel.
