Mr. Meadows was born Oct. 5, 1931, in Virginia and was the son of the late Clarence George and Mamie Blanche Jenkins Meadows.
He was a self-employed painter. He had served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are a companion, Lottie Marie Willis of Manassas; a daughter, Thalia Meadows of Florida; five sisters, Bonnie Comer, Shirley Gray and Sylvia Propes, all of Stanley, Brenda Grimsley of Shenandoah and Darlene Buracker of Chantilly; a brother, Dennis E. Meadows of Front Royal, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The Rev. Delmas Meadows will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray. Burial will be in Beahm's Chapel Cemetery.
