MRS. SARAH BREWER; THE ARCADIAN;

Mrs. Sarah Brewer, wife of H. D. Brewer, died at her home in the Owens neighborhood on March 29. 1929, following a brief illness. She was sixty years of age. The family had lived in this county for many years, being pioneers in the settlement of this county. Mrs. Brewer had always been active in community affairs and enjoyed the highest esteem of all who knew her. She was a native of Georgia, the town of Monroe being her birthplace.

Funeral services were held at the Church at Owens on Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock, Rev. N. E. Norwood of this city preaching the sermon, and the funeral was attended by a large concourse of sorrowing friends.

Pallbearers were Marsden Garner, Whitt Garner J. F. Thigpen, Jasper Howard, J. T. Baxley and Charlie Coulter. The Mortuary Funeral Home was in charge.

Mrs. Brewer is survived by her husband, seven sons and three daughters.
