AUSTIN D. BREWER ARCADIA, Oct. 27. ---(Special)---Austin D. Brewer, 52, native of Georgia, and a DeSoto County resident for 40 years, died at his home at Owens this morning. He broke his back in a fall from a tree three years ago but until the last six months was not helpless. He was a contractor and member of Baptist Church. He is survived by his Father H.D. Brewer, his widow and two children, A.D. Brewer, Jr., and Mrs. Earl Wooten, all of Owens, and by five brothers, Owen, Walter, and Ernest Brewer, of Owens; Ralph Brewer of Winter Haven, and Weyman Brewer of the U.S. Air Corps, Pensacola; by three sisters, Mrs. Grady Perry of Owens, Mrs. Kirby Garner, Arcadia, and Mrs. George Harris of Washington, D.C.
