ARCADIA, Florida— Henry Dilmus Brewer, age 89, of Arcadia, Florida, died in an Arcadia Hospital yesterday, January 16, 1953, after a short illness.
Henry Dilmus Brewer was a member of Mt. Ephriam Baptist Church and lived in DeSoto County, Florida, for 56 years, coming here from Monroe, Georgia.
Henry D. Brewer was a retired citrus grower. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maggie E. Brewer, of Arcadia, Florida; five sons, Owen T. Brewer, James Walter Brewer, and Earnest G. Brewer, all of Arcadia, Florida; Ralph Brewer of Winter Haven, Florida, and Wayman F. Brewer of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Mrs. H.G. Perry, of Arcadia, Florida; Mrs. Kirby Garner, of Arcadia, Florida, and Mrs. George Harris, of Washington, D.C.; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
