Reinhard M. Billmeyer, 77 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Friday, May 9 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 12 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN with Rev. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Sunday, May 11 at Emblom-Brenny East Chapel and from 9:30 until the hour of service on Monday at the church in Pierz, MN.
Reinhard was born August 1, 1930 in Granite Township, Morrison County, MN to the late Theodore and Anna (Huver) Billmeyer. He attended District #97 rural school. Reinhard worked for various farmers in Eastern Morrison County. Reinhard retired and moved into Little Falls, MN where he enjoyed walking downtown and visiting with people he met. He had a gift of being able to talk with complete strangers. Reinhard enjoyed walking and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his brothers, Gerald Billmeyer and wife, Jeanne, of Siera Vista, AZ, Richard Billmeyer and wife, Dorothy, of Little Falls, MN, Ervin Billmeyer and wife, Louise, of Buckman, MN; sisters, Doreen Seppelt and husband, Kenny, of Isanti, MN, Donna Block of Little Falls, MN and Lorraine Voigt of Lockheart, TX. Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Ann (Huver) Billmeyer and a sister, Leona Hiemenz.
Casketbearers will be Reinhard's nieces and nephews.
