Pierz - Funeral services for Anna Billmeyer, 76, Pierz, who died Saturday, August 7, at the Lutheran Home was held Monday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Pierz, with Father Richard Heid officiating.
Anna Billmeyer was born Oct. 7, 1905, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Huver. She was born in Granite Twonship. She married Theodore Billmeyer May 5, 1925 in Pierz. They farmed in Granite Township. In 1976 she moved to the Lutheran Home. Theodore preceded her in death Nov. 16, 1980. She was a member of Christian Mothers.
She is survived by four sons; Reinhard, Little Falls, Richard, Little Falls, Ervin, Buckman, Gerald, Germany; daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Leona) Hiemenz, Buckman, Mrs. Leonard (Lorraine) Voight, Harlingen, Texas; Mrs. Kenneth (Doreen) Seppelt, Isanti, Minn., Mrs. Andrew (Donna) Block, Lastrup; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Marshik, St. Otto's Little Falls, Mrs. Sebastian (Theresa) Warzecha, Pierz; Mrs. Louise Sobcoviak, Mil., Wisc., Mrs. Leo (Clara) Zuleger, Foley, Minn.; 36 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral arrangements were made through the Brenny Funeral Home in Pierz.
