Ezra Knight Funk was the son of Mariah DeMille Funk and Daniel Buckley Funk.

He married Mary Amanda Henrie November 9, 1867 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Another Manti Pioneer Gone. Ezra K. Funk Sr., an early day resident of this city, died at his home in Ferron Thursday, of heart failure.

Mr. Funk was born June 1, 1846 in Quincy, Illinois. He came to Manti with his parents.

In 1867 he was married to Mary A. Henrie, a daughter to Mary A. Henrie, a daughter of Daniel Henrie. He lived in Manti 21 years, moving from Hero to Ferron where he has since resided.

He leaves his wife, four sons and four daughters; Mrs. Myra Hansen, Ezra K. Jr., John H., and George B. Funk of Ferron; W. A. Funk of Baker, Oregon; Mrs. Lewis Larson, Mrs. W. G. Stringham and Mrs. Antonio Hougaard of Manti.

The remains were brought here Monday and the funeral held at the North Ward Chapel Wednesday afternoon. The speakers were Chas. Musig, N. C. Christensen, C. P. Larsen and F. M. Cox. The chapel choir furnished music and Ellis Johnson and Miss Geniel Brown sang a duet.
