Funeral services for Loris Fae Kidd Fowler, born Oct. 17, 1929 and died August 6, 1999, were held Tuesday, August 10, in the Vernal 9th Ward LDS chapel with Bishop Arvid Sullivan conducting.
Dee Kidd offered the family prayer with prelude and postlude music played by Janell Hall.
Larry Hall, son-in-law, gave the invocation with remarks and obituary offered by Bishop Sullivan.
Janell Hall played a piano solo, "Jesus The Very Thought of Thee;" Mickey Wells, accompanied by Kerrilynn Pearson, sang "O My Father;" and Phyllis Andrews and Kerrilynn Pearson, accompanied by Ranae Labrum, sang a medley of their mother's favorite songs.
Speaker was Bert Angus with memories of grandma given by her grandchildren.
Herb Jensen, son-in-law, offered a family tribute and gave the benediction.
Chad Hall dedicated the grave.
Pallbearers were Darren Fowler, Tom Rood, Joe Carroll, Jeff Carroll, Brant Hall and Jason Searle.
Honorary pallbearers were Maurice Kidd, Dee Kidd, Duane Paulson, Bob Carroll, Larry Hall, Chad Hall, Herb Jensen, Taylor Jensen and Jaxon Searle.
Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Thomson's Vernal Mortuary with compassionate services offered by the Vernal 9th Ward Relief Society.
