Whitten, Al Brousius, Son of Marion DeKalb Whitten and Lillie Belle Pinson Whitten. He was one of fourteen children born to Marion DeKalb Whitten and one of six born to Marion and Lillie Belle, Marion's third wife. He married Lillian E. Young and they had a daughter Marion Whitten Gooch and a son George Albert Whitten. A B owned and operated an office supply company in Pampa and he and Lillian made their home in Pampa. Lillian passed away in 1996.
