Raymond Swartz, 18, who for two years has been employed as a hand on the farm of Dr. J. C. Fulton, near Murray, died this morning between 10 and 11 o'clock at the home of his Uncle, Orland Myers, where he made his home since infancy and where he was taken when he became ill with typhoid fever several weeks ago.

The decedent was born in Adams County, not far from the Wells-Adams county line. His mother died when he was a mere infant and he was taken by his father's sister, Mrs. Orland (Christina) Myers, who raised him until he was able to begin to look out for himself. His father, John Swartz, resides at Fort Wayne and is a sewer contractor. He has one brother, residing at Fort Recovery, and a married sister at Parker City and also at Plymouth. His Eldest sister, Miss Eva, is a trained nurse and resides in Omaha. She came to this county a week ago on a vacation, being unaware of her brother's illness. She has been caring for him since her arrival. The decedent was the youngest of the family. All of his near relatives were at his bedside at the end.

The Funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Murray Christian Church, probably in charge of Rev. J. J. Markley. The burial will be at Murray graveyard. Two other children of the family are buried there
