He was preceded in death by both his parents and his step-mother Bessie(Henson)Cox;three brothers William Hugh,Hal Henderson and Charles P.,all of Morristown,Tennessee;two sisters,Dessie Margaret(Floyd)McKinney and Nancy Kate(Hobart)Guinn,both of Marion,Indiana.Survivors include his wife Betty Holt;a son Charles William McKinney ,Marion, Indiana; a daughter Barbara Hutchison,Florida;one brother Frank Norman,Temple Texas;and three sisters,Nellie Blanch Fox,Mary Belle Glen,both of Morristown,Tennessee and Francis Jane Simon,Michigan.
