C. Albin Person was the oldest child of (Carl) Ludvig Person and (Hannah) Julia Larson Person. He was born on October 17, 1901 in Levis, Wisconsin. He attended Levis School and Gale Academy in Galesville, Wisconsin. In 1929 he went to Long Beach, California where he visited family and traveled in California for several months.
Albin farmed with his father on his home farm. He married Alice Lund in July of 1938. They moved to the farm that Albin owned east of Levis, in the area called Tindale. Besides doing his own farming, Albin did custom work for area farmers with his threshing machine and other large farm equipment.
In 1959 Albin and Alice were hired to operate Camp Augustana, a Lutheran Bible camp near Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. While there Albin, a very skilled repairman, supervised all of the carpentry, electric, plumbing and yard work that needed to be done. After ten years, Albin retired. They returned to Osseo where they purchased the Fred Johnson home.
Albin was a self-taught musician, teaching himself to play the trumpet, baritone, saxophone, and clarinet. He played in the Levis band and sang in the church choir that was directed by his father for many years.
Alvin and Alice were members of the Price Church after they returned to Osseo. Their home was the gathering place for family and friends to visit. The door was always open.
His siblings are: (Constance) Gladys Person, Leonard Person, and Marie Person Lund. Albin passed away in 1986.
