He attended schools in the Seneca area. He was a farmer in the Seneca and St. Benedict area until moving to Atchison in 1965. He was employed in the maintenance department at Mount St. Scholastica Convent until he retired in 1973. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Atchison. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren and was devoted to them.
He was married to Helen Reinecke, April 20, 1938, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Baileyville, KS.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. David (Debi) Powell, Olathe, KS; three sons, Richard Stallbaumer, Stillwell, KS; Larry Stallbaumer, Topeka, KS; and Dan Stallbaumer of the home; three sisters, Leona Nolte, Atchison, KS; Minnie Haug, Seneca, KS; and Rita Broxterman, Baileyville, KS; five brothers, Alfred Stallbaumer, Cyril Stallbaumer, Raymond Stallbaumer, Adrain Stallbaumer and Emmett Stallbaumer, all of Seneca, KS, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Cora Hammes, brother, Cletus Stallbaumer and grandson, Timothy Shawn Stallbaumer

Funeral Services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Atchison, KS. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Atchison, KS.
