Homer Elmer White, 74, of Waldport died on September 26, 1976 at New Lincoln Hospital in Toledo. He was born on September 26, 1902 near Freedom, Oklahoma to Charles Albert and Sarah Adaline (Davidson) White. He was a retired rancher. He married Ruth Alice Frazier and they were the parents of three children. They later divorced. He married the former Marie Jane Wilcox on June 25, 1940 in Yuma, Arizona. He is survived by his wife; his son, Milford Elmer White of Medford; his daughters, Bernice Alice Richey and Velma Lee White, both of Canyonville; his step-daughters, Berteen Davis and Rowena Hollowell; his brother, Leonard Charles White of San Bernardino, California; and his sister, Pheba Frazier of Eugene. Graveside services were conducted today in Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay under the direction of Bateman Funeral Home.
