The company left Lewisburg, Tennessee on May 21, 1846. He fought under Gen Zachary Taylor in Monterey, Vera Crus, and Jalapa Mexico where he was ordered to Vera Cruz to board ship to New Orleans,Louisiana where he was mustered out and paid off May 1847.
