Samuel Newton Poarch died in New Mexico in 1925 and his body was returned to Tennessee and buried in Diana Cemetery.
He married Margaret E Buchannon September 21, 1867 in Obion County Tennessee. Picture made when he was 94.

Consolidated Feb 1865 with 21st Wilson's Reg. Paroled May 1865 as 21 & 22 Consolidated Regiment. There were men from Obion & Weakley Counties, TN.
