S N Porch served in the CSA Calvary 19th Regiment TN ( Biffle's) S N Poarch 22th TN Calvary CSA Co. H 1. Muster Roll Feb - Mar 1864; 2. Organized June1862. Reorganized June 1863 and May 1864. 4. Consolidated Feb 1865 with 21st Wilson's Reg. Paroled May 1865 as 21 & 22 Consolidated Regiment. There were men from Obion & Weakley Counties, TN.
1880 Census Obion Co. TN Samuel N Poarch, 40, born TN; Margaret 32 wife, Alice 11, dau. TN; BillieM Dau. 5, TN; Alex son 3, TN; Mary Buchanan,66 mother-in-law, (Vol 25 ED 109 Sheet 17 line 14.)
