Adele's family members include three sons and daughters-in-law, Bernard and Lorretta Amiot of Watkinsville, GA, Allen and Mary Amiot of Bloomington, MN, and Edward and Patty Amiot of Crookston, MN; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Jeanie Stoe) Amiot, Tony Amiot, Rainey Amiot and Nicole (Jon) Erickson; five great-grandchildren, Alexander and Cameron Stoe, Kendrick, Ella and Aimee Erickson; three step-grandchildren, Andrew (Jane) Skretvedt, Dr. John (Rachel) and son Paul Skretvedt, and Philip Skretvedt; a sister, Dorene Enge of Thief River Falls, MN; a brother, Clarence Fournier of Duluth, MN; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Adele is also survived by her "Bestest" friend, Milly Regeimbal of Crookston; and many other special friends in and around Crookston. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victor; a grandson, Darin Amiot; her parents, Emil and Rose Fournier; sisters, Lorraine Swanson and Ruth Imstadhl; and a brother, Clifford Fournier.
The funeral service for Adele Amiot will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston, with The Very Reverend Robert Schreiner, presiding. Visitation will be on Thursday at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home from 5-7:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM prayer service and also for an hour before the funeral at the church. Interment will be in the Oakdale Cemetery in Crookston.
