Wife of Arthur Fair, mama of Lillaree Fair Baggett Miller, Hoyt, Elbert, Orris, Jack and Alfred Fair and Betty Ann Fair Newsome. Daughter of Eliza Allen Gay and Gus Brown. Sister of Dessie Brown Barrones, Myrtle Brown Leggett, Leila Brown Youngblood, Annie Belle Brown McInvale, Ollie Mae Brown Gibson Thompson and Lewis Brown. She loved her church at Jacksonville Congregational Holiness. She was known for her cooking and baking capabilities. Every pastor of her church through the years was supplied with her homemade from scratch cakes and pies. She was a very hard worker and thought very well of and was loved and adored by all of her family and friends. She was my Grandmother and kept me while Mama and Daddy worked so I was with her almost more that I was at home. She taught me so many, many things. All 22 of her grandchildren loved her dearly and we all miss her so much because she was such a big part of our life. I miss you greatly Grandmother.
