A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, at Centre Friends Meeting in Greensboro.
Miss Coltrane was born in Guilford County, retired from Burlington Mills and Olympic Products, and was also a lifetime member of Centre Friends Meeting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tula Blanche and B. Eugene Coltrane and sister-in-law, Patsy Coltrane.
She is survived by one sister, Ethel Whitaker and husband, Donald; brothers, Roy Coltrane and wife, Margaret, Lacy Coltrane and Cecil Coltrane; many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Clapp's Nursing Center for the compassionate care of Irene.
