Ruby's siblings were Will Allen , Jr. , Clyde Allen , Faye Allen Burgess , and Joe Merle Allen . She married James Earl Brooks and they had only one child , James Allen Brooks . The family lived in Desoto County , Mississippi . For many years Ruby was an employee of Flavorite Foods of Horn Lake , Mississippi . Ruby truly was a woman with a servant heart who had deep love for her family . On October 15 , 2004 Ruby Bell Allen Brooks died in Springdale Health Care Facility in Memphis , Tennessee .
