Curtis Otto Baird, 68, of Elk Valley died at the East Tenn. *unreadable* Hospital in Knoxville on Sunday.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virgie Owens Baird of Lenoir City; three sons, Curtis A. Baird of Phoenix, Az., Don Baird and Jack Baird both of Lenoir City; two daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Smith of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Elizabeth Frost of Lenoir City; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Blankenship of Knoxville, Mrs. Ollie Owens of Elk Valley, Mrs. Bernice Smith of Zephrey Hills, Fla.; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elk Fork Baptist Church by the Rev. Roe Chitwood. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.
Ellison Funeral Home, Jellico, was in charge of arrangements.
