Mrs. Clara Rohr, 77, died Sunday at St. Anthony Hospital after a long illness. She resided at 522 West 17th St., Hays. Born April 12, 1888 at Munjor, she was a lifetime Ellis County resident.
Survivors include three sons, Henry, Nick and Clarence, all of Hays; six daughters, Mrs. Ted Befort, Mrs. Rudy Ruder, Mrs. Alex Gross, Mrs. Elmer Tholen, all of Hays; Mrs. Alphonse Leiker, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Rita Weeks, Kansas City, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. Carl Stecklein, Ness City; Mrs. Jacob Urban, Mrs. Lawrence Rohr, both of Hays; Mrs. Fidelis Befort, Munjor, 34 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Brock's North Hill Chapel was in charge.
