Godwin (19 Jan 1856-23 Nov 1882); (2) Alonzo Machen Godwin (12 Aug 1854-24 Sept 1922); and (3) Alice Cleo Godwin (30 April 1849 – 8 June 1919). Mary Ann Elliott Godwin died on 14 August 1890 in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, and is buried in Butters Cemetery.
On the death certificate of Mary Ann Elliott Godwin's daughter, Alice Cleo Godwin Morrow, Mary Ann Elliott is listed as Nora Elliott. This could be a death certificate error or "Nora" could have been a nick name used for Mary Ann Elliott.
