LEACH Charles "Ned", 95, of OKC, died August 4, 2001, in OKC, OK. He was born Dec. 25, 1905, in Sweetwater, TX, to Charles and Gertrude Leach. He graduated from OU in 1931 with a Bachelor's degree in business. He married his college sweetheart Arabell "Arzy" Lee Leach. He taught radio electronics in the U.S. Navy during World War II. His occupation in life was as a radio and television engineer at WKY-KTVY Channel 4 for thirty years. He was also a licensed ham radio operator during his years of retirement. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 yrs, Arabell Lee Leach. He is survived by his daughter, Charla Brown and his granddaughters, Sheila and Julie Fixel of OKC. Also, he is survived by his siblings, Shirley Leach of Weatherford, TX, Louise Enochs of Fort Worth, TX, Flora Long of Pipestone, MN, Lowe Leach of Sadler, TX, Wilma Mahaney of Alvarado, TX and Lucille Hill of Whitesboro, TX. Graveside services were held 2:00 PM, Mon., Aug. 6, Britton Cemetery, NW 100 & Western Ave., OKC.
