Wayman enlisted for 2 yrs.on Oct. 1, 1861 in Bowling Green, TN. "Wheeler's" 6 Cavalry. Confederate. when Vicksburg, Ms was taken Wayman was a prisoner till exchanged and sent back to Shelby, TN.
