Married Malinda Jane Jones September 19, 1909 in Gainesville, Cooke County ,Texas. They had six children. To the sadness of his children Charlie took his life. I as a 10 year old can remember going to his home, he always gave us money to go to a grocery store and buying all the candy we could eat. I was 15 when he took his life, and still had the baby doll he bought me , as a small child this was a treat, the only one I ever had. grandpa I miss you, Luteen Carroll 8-5-2022. Charlie married 2nd Dora Mae Harris Feb. 2, 1924 and divorced her July 331, 1931, no issue, He married 3rd Eva last no issue. Going to her door a person asked to see their dad, she replied Charlie has no children. what a shock to find he had a house full.
