Miss Catherine McGoey died last night at 10 o'clock after a long illness. Miss McGoey lived with her sisters, Margaret and Mary, on a farm on the Ridge. In her earlier years she taught district school at various places in this immediate neighborhood. She was a true Christian woman who faithfully performed the duties of life and earned the respect and esteem of all who knew her. She also leaves two brothers, John and James, also of this town. She was a member of St. Mary's parish.
