MAY 1940

Mary Catherine Christy, for the last 25 years a resident of Klamath Falls, Oregon, passed away in this city Thursday, May 16, 1940, at 10:30 a.m. following an illness of one year. She was a native of Pottawatomie, county, Kansas and at the time of her death was aged 78 years 10 months and 3 days. Surviving are five sons, George A. and H.W. of this city, Fred L. and Verner R. of Qunicy, Calif., and Albert L. Christy of Klamath Agency, Oregon, one sister Mrs. Anna Coffey of Vale, Oregon, also 24 grandchildren. Mrs. Christy was a member of Aloha, Chapter No. 61. O.E.S. and Klamath Auxiliary No. 1383 V.F.W. The remains rest in the Earl Whitlock Funeral Home, Pine street at Sixth, where friends may call after 12 noon Friday.
