Kenneth W. Kraushaar

Kenneth W. Kraushaar, 75, of Godfrey, died at 5:20 p.m. Friday, 12 August 1988 at St. Joseph's hospital in Alton. He was an electrician at Wegman Electric in Bethalto until retiring in 1972. He was also a farmer and land developer.

Born in Jersey County, he was a son of the late Charles and Virginia (Christen ) Kraushaar.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ethyle Ray; a Daughter, Glenda Helflin of Mesquite, Texas; a son, Donald Kraushaar of Bethalto; two grandchildren; four Sisters, Alice Stinberg of Peoria, Dorothy Wilson of Kampsville, Violet Brown of Tucson, Arizona and June Almon of Missouri; and three brothers, Charles Kraushaar of Hillview, George Kraushaar of White Hall and John Kraushaar of Portland, Oregon.

Private services were held Saturday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
