Died 6-30-1976, Final rites for Charles Kraushaar, 87, Rural Route 1, Fieldon were conducted on 2 July from Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Vale Walkington of Otterville officiating. Interment was in Fieldon cemetery.
His death occurred at 9:05 P. M. on 30 June at the White Hall hospital. He was born on 7 June 1889 in Jersey County, a son of Joseph and Tena (Martin) Kraushaar and was a retired farmer.
His survivors are five sons, Durward Kraushaar of Eldred, Kenneth Kraushaar of Bethalto, Charles and George Kraushaar of White Hall, and John Kraushaar of Jacksonville; four daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Alice) Sternberg of Park Ridge, Mrs. Cy (Dorothy) Wilson and Mrs. June Inman of Frohna, Missouri, and Mrs. Marvin ( Violet) Johnston of Otterville; 31 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Chris Kraushaar and Otto Kraushaar of Eldred; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Marfreed of Alton, Mrs. Inez Kraushaar and Mrs. Josephine Maltimore of Jerseyville.
