NOTE- the photo is of Margaret "Peggy" Hammons, and some debate of who the man is, I think it is of her 2nd husband. Thomas Ervin Smith.

Margaret "Peggy" Ann Hammons daughter of William "Bill" Hammons and Jane Hartley-Hammons.

Her first marriage was to David Pruitt b. 30 Mar. 1843 in Douglas Co., MO. Per note from a cousin, when David died he was buried in the cement box back of the barn, that Jane Hartley Hammons owned and raised her family on. That is why Margaret buried her husband there. No children.

Peggy had a daughter before she was married, Mary Hammons born Dec. 1884. On Peggy death certificate it has the informant as Mary Parker, Seymour, Mo. (Note- this Mary Parker is "Not" her daughter).

her second marriage to Thomas Ervin Smith b. 17 Apr. 1843 Dardnell, Arkansas, d. 16 Sep. 1935 Sparta, Mo, he is buried in Ozark Cemetery, Ozark, Christian, Co., MO. they were married 25 July 1907 No children from this union.

her third marriage to Albert Grant Roley b. 21 Sep. 1871 Douglas Co., MO. d. 19 Mar. 1947 Webster County, MO. No children.

Peggy and Albert are both buried in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery, Webster County, MO.
