ALBEMARLE, May 17 - Funeral for Mrs. Effie Brown Spital, 50, well know Albemarle woman, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Salem Methodist church at Millingport. Burial will be made in church cemetery. Mrs. Spital died at the home here of her son, Ray Spital, last night following a serious illness of several months. She is survived by her son, Ray, of Albemarle; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Smith, of Albemarle; three sisters, Mrs. Mrs. C. E. Lowder and Mrs. D. C. Lefner, both of Salisbury, and Mrs. M. C. Austin, of Hamlet; and two brothers, M. L. And J. H. Hatley, both of Albemarle, route three.
