SALISBURY, Feb. 1 - Mrs. Mamie Hatley Lefler, 77, died Sunday at Crotts Nursing Home in Spencer. She had been in declining health for several years. She was a native of Stanly County and member of Park Avenue Methodist Church. Survivors: a daughter, Mrs. J. Reid Clement of Salisbury; a brother J. Hoyle Hatley of Stanly County; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Funeral, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Summersett Funeral Home, the Rev. C. C. Murray, burial in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
