Mamie was the fourth of nine children born to Dock W. and Laura Ann (Moose) Hatley. She married Daniel Cleveland Leflerin 1908 and they were the parents of one daughter: Eunie Gladys.

SALISBURY, Feb. 1 - Mrs. Mamie Hatley Lefler, 77, died Sunday at Crotts Nursing Home in Spencer. She had been in declining health for several years. She was a native of Stanly County and member of Park Avenue Methodist Church. Survivors: a daughter, Mrs. J. Reid Clement of Salisbury; a brother J.
