FOX, Odie
1915- 2008. Long time pioneer Odie Fox well known at Fox Feed passed away on June 19th with his family at his side. Anyone who knew Odie knows that he was a fixture at the Canyon Country Fox Feed. He always had a smile, warm wishes or a good story to tell if you had time to listen. He was preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart & wife Evelyn of 65 years, He was born on June 6, 1915. He celebrated his 93rd birthday with his family. Odie moved to California from Oklahoma when he was 26 years old. Shortly after he arrived in California he started his hay business in Antelope Valley. He opened his first feed store in Canyon Country 33 years ago. He opened his second feed store 24 years ago and the rest is history. He was loved by family, friends and customers. All will miss him dearly. He is survived by five sisters, one brother, his daughter (Darlene McCaslin), and two sons (Jerry and Doug Fox), six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Services will be held at Living Way Foursquare Church (Lancaster). On June 26, 2008, visitation at 10:00 a.m. & services at1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Joshua Memorial Park, Lancaster, CA.
