Marie was born to George & Grace Fox, one of 10 children, in Oklahoma.
Charismatic, beautiful, witty, a world traveler. She owned & operated The Pink Poodle Beauty Salon in Lancaster next to George's Cleaners on Beech Avenue. She had one son, Shelby Lee Freeman (now deceased)
and daughter Juanita Moyer Shaffer.
