Vera Baker Toomey, age 99, formerly of Wila, died Tuesday March 22, 1988 in the Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield, Perry County, Pa.
She was the widow of Thomas Lawrence Toomey and was a member of Wila United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son T.(Thomas) Luke Toomey of New Bloomfield; a daughter, Edith Mumper of Mount Joy, Lancaster County, Pa.; a granddaughter; two step-granddaughters; a great grandson; and three step-great grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday March 24, 1988 in the Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Sr. David Harper and the Rev. Albert E. Cox officiating. Burial in the Newport Cemetery.
