Surveyed 18 June 1875, area called Love. Rebecca's father build first house in Harrietsville, Ohio. Rebecca died 9 Dec 1898 age 90 yrs, 6 mos, 1 dy. Buried Rake Cemetery, Marietta, Ohio.

JOHN RAKE: Is believed to be the son of Abraham Rake (1780 - 2/9/1869) Abraham is believed to be the son of Johann Phillip Racke (2/12/1736-?). Johann Phillip is believed to be the son of Johann Jacob Racke (1695-?) who married Anna Margaretha Morgensterns (1699-?).
ABRAHAM RAKE (1780 - 2/9/1869): Married Suzanne Simion (1783 - 12/6/1862) having thirteen (13) children.
Anna (1802-?) married George Miller having four children: Peter, Abraham, John, Isaac. No further information is known.

Jacob (1808-?) married Lovice Barnhart (1810-?) having eleven (11) children. Jacob changed the spelling of his children's last name at this time from Rake to Raike. My geneology trace and my nephew's, Samuel Eugene Raike who done this research, is derived from Jacob. Jacob is believed to be buried in the Rake cemetery with the headstone Jacob L. Rake with no DOB or DOD.
