BRECKINRIDGE HERALD NEWS OBITUARY – 1970
Mrs. Myrtle A. Mattingly, Mattingly Route, Cloverport, passed away Sunday May 10 at the Breckinridge County Memorial Hospital. The body was brought to the Dhonau Funeral Home. Rosary recited there, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 12. The funeral service was held Wednesday morning at the St. Rose Catholic Church, the Msgr. William B. Jarboe officiating. Burial in the Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Jerry Ballman, Herman Mattingly, Morris Payne, Sargent Keenan, Cyril Payne and C.G. Winchell. Surviving Mrs. Mattingly is her husband, Joe L. Mattingly; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Mingus and a son William E. Mattingly all of Cloverport; three sisters, Mrs. Veva Beavin, Cloverport; Mrs. Ollie Ballman, Leitchfield, and Mrs. Irene Keenan, Hardinsburg. Mrs. Mattingly was born at Mattingly, April 17, 1893 and was the daughter of Samuel W. and Murray Beaven.
