Mrs. Mona Irene Ory, 53, of Battletown, died Fri. Feb 21 at Humana University Hospital, Louisville.
She was born Feb. 15, 1933 the daughter of James Edward and Mona Pearl Allen Frans.
Mrs. Ory is survived by her husband, Julian S. Ory; 5 children, Mrs. Sharon Irene Phillips, Battletown, Bradley Ory, Bruce Ory, and Bryan Ory all of Battletown, Eddie Ory. Mt. Pleasant, KY
She was preceded in death by one daughter Mrs. Barbara June Cain, in 1979.
Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Mona Pearl Foster, Brandenburg, 2 sister, Mrs R.L. Humphrey, Battletown and Mrs James Stiles, Louisville, and 2 brothers, Ralph Frans, Payneville and Wilmer Frans, Shepherdsville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs Frances Bishop and a brother Joseph Frans.
Mrs. Ory is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Karen Humphrey, Joshua Ory, Micah Cain, Mandy Cain, Christopher Ory and Nicole Marie Ory.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb 23 from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. David Harden officiating. Interment was in Parr Cemetery.
