Ralph Sidney Frans, age 92, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care of Harrison County. Mr. Frans proudly served his country in World War II as a member of the United States Army; was a lifelong member of DAV Post 6543; and was a member of Meade County General Baptist Church.
Mr. Frans was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Sutherland Frans. He is survived by four children, Pearl Kemp, Marengo, IN, Rita Ann Daniels, Columbia, SC, Aleena Everton, Hardinsburg, KY, Susie Purcell, Corydon, IN; a step daughter, Margie Louise Dean, Munfordville, KY; a sister, Freeda Humphrey, Battletown, KY; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Parr-Frans Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Tuesday; from 1-8 PM on Wednesday; and after 9:00 AM on Thursday.
