"Grubbs--Prof. F.H. Grubbs, formerly a resident of this city, but in recent years in business in Portland, died at the home in that city yesterday morning.
His wife, who was a daughter of Rev. Jason Lee, died several years ago. He leaves one daughter, Ethel Waif Grubbs, of Portland. He was a graduate of Willamette university and for some time one of its teachers. Definite plans have not been arranged for the funeral, but he will be buried in Lee Mission cemetery, probably, Thursday afternoon." DOS Mar 29, 1911 5:3
