Nellie M. O'Neal of Townsend died of heart failure Sunday, September 17, 1995 in IHS of Delaware in Smyrna. She was 85.
Mrs. O'Neal was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Townsend Fire Company. She enjoyed crotcheting and doing ceramics.
Mrs. O'Neal was preceded in death by her husband, John L. O'Neal in 1972, a son Robert O'Neal in 1943 and a daughter Ramona O'Neal in 1951.
She is survived by a sister, Ruth Ivory of Townsend, two brothers, Samuel and Clarence Austin, both of Townsend, her niece who cared for her, Carol Lee Hutchison, and several other nieces and nephews.
Burial at Townsend Cemetery.
