Ruth A. Ivory Age 88 of Townsend, DE passed away on Wed., April 9, 2003 at the Silver Lake Center in Dover.
Mrs. Ivory was an avid Alan Jackson fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ivory, in 1984 and her son-in-law, Reese Johnson and a grandson, Jim Johnson.
She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Johnson of Townsend; 1 grandson, Randy Johnson and his wife, Vickie of Smyrna; 1 granddaughter, Terri Smith and her husband, Gene of Earleville, MD; a special great granddaughter, Stacey Shahan of Clayton; 3 great grandsons, Bobby Smith, Robbie and Brian Johnson; and 1 great-great granddaughter, Megan Johnson. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Austin; and several nieces and nephews.
The service will be held on Saturday, April 12 at 11 am in the DANIELS & HUTCHISON FUNERAL HOME, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown. Friends may call Friday evening from 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Townsend Cemetery.
