Funeral services for the late Rev. William C. Stokes, who died in St. 'Luke's hospital, Cleveland, Monday were conducted at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Pennsylvania Avenue Methodist
Episcopal church of which he had been pastor for more than two years.
Tribute was paid to his memory by the Rev. H.S. Powell, Steubenville. district superintendent of the Methodist Episcopal Church, who had charge of the services.
Dr J. O. Campbell, pastor of the Second United Presbyterian church, represented the Ministerial association at the services.
Interment was made in Riverview cemetery.
