Miss Gertrude L. Stokes, fifty-eight, 31 Pearl St., died at her home at 11:50 a. m. Yesterday of cerebral hemorrhage after a three weeks illness.
She was born in Mountville, a daughter of the late Jackson C. and Lizzie E. Miller Stokes, and was an employe of the Slaymaker Lock Co. She was a member of the Pearl Street Evangelical church.
She is survived by the following brothers and sisters : Mrs. Margaret Schlotzhauer, Lancaster: Joseph A. Stokes, this city; Mrs. Sarah Lehn, Doylestown; Mrs. Mary Gibble and Mrs. Alice Renard, Lancaster.
