Mrs. Margaret D. Schlotzhauer, seventy-four, 240 S. Ann St., died yesterday at 6:35 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of more than a year. She was the widow of George Schlotzhauer.

Born in Airville. York County, she was the daughter of the late Jackson C. and Elizabeth E. Miller Stokes. She had resided in Lancaster all her life and was a member of St, Paul's Methodist Church.

She is survived by five sons and four daughters: George W., John O., and Leroy S., all of Lancaster; James A, Lititz; Margaret E., wife of Paul W. Doersom, Bausman; Ruth A., wife of Melvin E Groff, Lancaster; Charles E., Philadelphia; Evelyn M., wife of George Ernst, and Mary J., wife of Henry I. Shue, both of Lancaster.

Also surviving are 19 grandchildren. 19 great-grandchildren and the following brother and sisters, Joseph A. Stokes, Lancaster; Mrs. Sarah E. Lehn Doylestown; Mrs. Mary A. Gibble and Mrs. Alice M. Renard, both of Lancaster.

The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice from The Funeral Home of Fred E. Groff. Inc., No. 234 West Orange Street on Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Interment in Riverview Burial Park. Friends may call at Groft's Sunday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
