Augusta's husband was Adolph

Augusta and Adolf had 2 sons, and one daughter. Their daughter, Eloise, was my grandma, "Hootnanny."

I can still remember going to visit my great grandmother, "Old Nanny," at her nursing home in St. Pete, FL.

Old Nanny had 8 brothers and sisters:

Karl
Ida
Frederich
Emma
Hellen
Herman
Wilhelmine
Heinrich, and
Dorothy.

Augusta Hansen's obituary reads:

Mrs Augusta Hansen, 89, of St Petersburg, FL, formerly of Decatur, died 3:30 pm Sunday in Pasadena Hospital, St Petersburg.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Mrs Hansen was born in Carver, Minn, a daughter of Wilhelm and Dorothy Godshau Koshinski.

She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Decatur Garden Club, Decatur Women's Club, and at one time, the Republican Club.

She married Adolph Hansen in Chaska, Minn.

Surviving are a son, Walter of Decatur; daughter, Mrs Carroll (Eloise) Cowger of St Petersburg, FL; brother, Herman Koshinski of Decatur; sister, Mrs Helen Hilgenbrink of Decatur; Mrs Dorothy Fisher of Chicago, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

One son, three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
