Adolf's wife was Augusta

Adolf and Augusta had two sons, and one daughter. Their sons were Donald, and Walter; their daughter was, Eloise, and I called her "Hootnanny" (grandma).

Adolf's obituary (Decatur Herald, page 12, June 8, 1950) reads:

Adolph H Hansen Dies At 70; Funeral Friday Adolph H Hansen, 70, retired employee of the A.E. Staley Mfg. Co., died at 12:30 am yesterday in Decatur and Macon County hospital. Mr Hansen, who lived at 1567 North College street, retired two years ago after working at the Staley company 32 years. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was born in Carver, Minn., Sept. 21 1879, a son of Olaf and Amelia Shirmer Hansen, and was married to Augusta Koshinski in Carver, January 22, 1902.

He leaves his wife, two sons, Donald W. and Walter O. Hansen, Decatur, Mrs Eloise Cowger, Decatur; two brothers, Alvin, Bremerton, WA, and Elmer of Carver, and two sisters, Mrs Marie Burling and Mrs Elsie Santache, both of Minneapolis.

There are six grandchildren.

The body is at the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home where friends may call after 4:00 pm today. Funeral services in the funeral home chapel with burial in Graceland cemetery.
