Resolutions passed by the Board of Stewards of the Okolona Methodist Church, April 4, 1916.

Whereas, on the 2nd of April, our beloved brother Abner C. Cox departed this life, and,

Whereas, he was a faithful steward of the Okolona Methodist Church and,

Whereas, we desire to show our love for him and appreciation of his high christian character,

Therefore be it resolved:

1st. That in his death the church and board of stewards lost a true and faithful member,
2nd. That we recommend to others his strong determination, his unfaltering courage and his unwavering faith in meeting the duties of life,
3rd. That we tender our sympathy to the family of the deceased in their bereavement and pray God's sustaining Grace may comfort them,
4th. That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the family, one be spread upon the minutes of the Church Conference, and one be sent to the Okolona Messenger for publication.
